THE OPPORTUNITY
The Humanitarian Coordinator will be located in Caracas. He will work together with the Director of Operations in everything related to the implementation of the humanitarian strategy in the Country Office, He will be responsible for leading the emergency preparedness plan and the annual humanitarian plan, in addition to mainstreaming humanitarian approaches in Save the Children Venezuela interventions.
To be successful you must comply with the following:
- University education completed.
- Experience in the humanitarian area, specifically in the context of disaster emergencies.
- Computer skills: handling the advanced MS Office package.
- Languages: oral and written fluidity of English and Spanish (not essential).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, including significant experience responding to an emergency in the national territory.
