Context
Under the supervision of the Child Education and Well-Being (EBEE) / Child Safeguarding (SE) referent, the flying program coordinator will contribute to improving the quality of SIF’s EBEE programs and ensuring child safeguarding internationally.
Your main missions will be the following (non-exhaustive and evolving list):
- Contribute to the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the SIF child protection policy on its field missions, with a view to KCS certification (level 1);
- Contribute to the assessment of child safeguarding risks in the field;
- Support the development of local procedures for reporting and managing safeguarding and child protection cases on missions;
- Contribute to the implementation of the EBEE strategy and the development of mission programmatic strategies;
- Participate in project management on all missions with EBEE projects;
- Ensure monitoring and analysis of the humanitarian situation.
Profile
- Required diploma: Bac+5 in child protection, social or educational sciences, psychology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the humanitarian sector.
- Knowledge of international standards in child education, protection and safeguarding.
- Knowledge of the fields of Food Security and Livelihoods and Water, Hygiene, Sanitation.
- Skills in humanitarian project management.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Ethics, sense of confidentiality and communication.
- Capacity for analysis, synthesis and rigor.
Conditions
- Permanent contract, to be filled as soon as possible.
- Status: Supervisor, full time.
- Travel to field missions to be expected (80%).
