Coordinator, Cross-Border Projects At International Justice Mission

Job Brief

IJM is seeking a Coordinator for IJM’s project focused on strengthening law enforcement responses to CyberTipline reports in Malaysia and the Philippines. The role is expected to be the primary in-country representative to Malaysian government partners for IJM’s Center to End Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (the “Center”), Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) Programs, and Forced Labor Slavery (FLS) Programs.

The Coordinator will have a dual role in supporting relationships for the OSEC and FLS Programs. The ideal candidate would have good relational, organization, and execution skills.The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and may require travel within Malaysia and regionally.

Key Result Areas:

The success of this role is measured by the following KRAs:

  1. Liaise and coordinate project efforts with relevant government and NGO partners based in Malaysia to ensure that project objectives are pursued;
  2. Provide efficient reporting of project progress and support to the Center project team for grant reports;
  3. Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of project-related activities.

Required Qualifications

· University bachelor’s degree preferred in International Development, Public Policy, Business, Law Economics, Public Health, Criminal Justice, or another related field;

· At least two years of experience in project coordination or a related field;

· Demonstrated success in project coordination and relationship management;

· Previous knowledge and experience of law enforcement engagement is preferred.
