Location: UK flexible / home working

Contract type: 18-month fixed term

Hours per week: 35

Salary: Up to £40550 Plus £3344 Inner London Weighting if applicable

How you’ll make a difference…

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, you’ll partner with some select internal teams to facilitate clear financial reporting to aid decision making and drive value for money, and ensure there is a strong internal control environment within the enabling directorates, including People Services, Digital, Data and Technology, Internal Professional Services, Internal Shared Services and F inance.

What you’ll be doing…

– Business partnering – Being the finance business partner to support both internal professional services area and organisational change. – Financial Reporting – To perform meaningful analysis and insight on financial performance for the various internal teams. – Budgeting and forecasting – To manage the annual budgeting process for the Enabling Functions, ensuring that budgets support the outline plan, objectives and prioritisation of the 3-year planning and budgeting process.

What we are looking for…

– Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience – Strong financial control and accounting skills – Experience of working within a complex finance function – Experience explaining complex financial issues to non-finance people# – Construction of budgets, forecasts, and month end processes
