For thirty years,’ONG International Acted has been working on the last kilometer of’action humanitariane to save lives. Acted currently supports 20 million people in 43 countries to meet their needs in hard-to-reach areas, and pursues a triple humanitarian, environmental and’acteur du development mandate. Acted Republic of congo
Acted has been present in the Republic of Congo since 1996, with a humanitarian commitment that has continued for more than 20 years across the territory, first in response to the needs of people affected by conflict and episodes of violence in the country. Acted teams are now mobilized in Brazzaville, as well as in Loudima, Nkayi and Madingou with programs to combat food insecurity supporting the livelihoods of agricultural populations.
Main roles and responsibilities
The zone coordinator represents Acted vis-à-vis local authorities, donors, beneficiary populations and other key players.
The coordinator.rice is a member of the’ management team, he/she guarantees the quality of the program and its operational implementation, as well as its deployment where it is appropriate and feasible, he/she/it has a strong role of representation. The coordinator directly supervises the project managers by checking that the projects and programmes are adapted to the needs of the beneficiaries and that’s are implemented in accordance with the overall strategy of’Acted, in, with the directions of the lessor. Once work plans and budgets are validated, the zone coordinator also oversees day-to-day operations and safety in the area concerned.

Qualifications and skills required
- International development training, emergency operations, humanitarian programs etc ;
- In-depth experience in project management in emergency and / or development programs ;
- Basic management skills are preferable ( HR, finance, logistics ) ;
- At least four years of relevant professional experience, preferably including safety management ;
- Proven leadership and team management skills required ;
- Ability to work under pressure ;
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and flexibility
Conditions
- Salary defined by the Acted salary grid according to the level of’studies,’expertise, the level of safety and the level of experience : between 2,700 and 3,100€ monthly net (before income taxes)
- Monthly living expenses allowance 300$
- Guesthouse accommodation and food supported by Acted
- Social security, mutual insurance (MSH) and repatriation assistance (SOS International) supported by Acted
- Transport to the mission and return ticket fully supported every 6 months (to the’address specified on the employment contract)
- Visa fees supported by Acted
- One week of preparation for departure including 4 days of immersion safety training
- Possibility of having a 30-minute call with a consultant in taxation
