TITLE: Deputy SVP for Global Programs
DEPARTMENT: Global Programs
REPORTS TO: SVP, Chief Program Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Oversight of Program Implementation for Americares global programs outside of the USA
-Oversees, works with, supports, and provides management support to: Directors(s)/ VP(s) for Americares global programs in Asia/Eurasia; Africa/ME; and LAC
-Works with direct reports to ensure best delivery and results in program implementation throughout programs:
-Timely and quality deliverables, reports, meetings, communication to HQ and program donor
-Anticipate/respond to any needs or issues that may impact programmatic deliverables and/or operational infrastructure, suggesting appropriate solutions/mitigation measures
-Identify and promote opportunities for the sharing of information/lessons-learned between staff and field locations
-Oversees budgets and expenditures
-Maintains and deepens Americares global partnerships and seek new global partnerships to be leveraged across regional efforts.
-Oversees a large number of teams in Asia/ Eurasia; Africa/Middle East; and LAC ensuring staff development and cross-functional work with programs and with other departments.
-Coordinates program implementation with Deputy SVP/ CMO for the Technical Unit
-Work with and support Americares Development, MarComms, HR, Finance, and other departments

Qualifications:
MD, MPH or equivalent
10 years of progressive work experience at scale in similar areas
Global experience and cultural competencies
Strong leadership and matrix management skills
Experience with quality improvement is preferred
Experience managing large teams, specifically remote management of direct reports
Experience with award management, publicly funded, and privately funded programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Work authorization in U.S.A.
