JOB SUMMARY

This position as Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting fundraising activities and donor engagement initiatives. This position requires a dynamic individual who is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to advancing global health through philanthropy.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of donor records.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support fundraising
  • strategies.
  • Process donations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generate acknowledgement letters and receipts for donors, expressing gratitude for their support.
  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, including logistics, guest management, and post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure a seamless experience for donors.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of fundraising materials,newsletters, and other communications to donors.
  • Conduct research on potential donors to identify individuals, foundations, and corporations with an interest in supporting the organization’s mission.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to engage and steward donors, including coordinating donor appreciation activities.
  • Work closely with the development team, program staff, and other departments to ensure coordinated efforts in fundraising and donor relations.
  • Schedules and delivers presentations to audiences of diverse backgrounds.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail.
  • Airtight communication skills
  • Skilled in public speaking and brand ambassadorship
  • Skilled in research and relationship building
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Skilled in event management and planning
  • 2-4 years of experience in fundraising focused individual donor stewardship and cultivation
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Skilled in community outreach, engagement, and networking
