Salary: €1800-2500 (depending on location)
SPARK is seeking a freelance/consultant Digital Marketing Consultant (maternity cover) to support the global Communications Department.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
The responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver the activities laid out in the annual social media content strategy across SPARK’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube channels to promote SPARK’s services, increase brand awareness and engagement among audiences;
- Manage day to day activity across social media accounts via SproutSocial, maintaining the Social Media Calendar (Google Calendar) and social budget;
- Regular production of creative content, including copy (English and Arabic), visuals and video;
- Create and optimise paid social ad campaigns;
- Provide quarterly insights analysis reports and recommendations to improve performance and identify opportunities for growth and engagement;
- Monitor trends, pitch and implement innovative content experiments;
- Provide training to relevant staff on content generation and optimising local social channels;
- Support with other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills
- Higher education or experience in Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a field relevant to SPARK’s work;
- Strong English and Arabic language skills;
- Proven editing and writing skills for social media;
- Skills and experience in graphic design and video editing, plus familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is essential;
- Experience with SproutSocial or other scheduling software is desirable;
- Experience with WordPress and MailChimp is desirable;
- Familiarity with Google Drive/Docs/Analytics etc.;
- Good communication and social skills and the ability to work in a multicultural setting;
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
