Tetra Tech International Development (http://www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Director of Administration and Finance (DAF) position on an anticipated U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded program Georgia. The goal of this project is to increase government accountability and responsiveness to citizens by enhancing the effectiveness and independence of governing institutions, strengthening the ecosystem for preventing and combatting corruption, and empowering citizens to hold the government to account. This will be achieved by increasing effectiveness and independence of governing and oversight institutions; increasing effectiveness and transparency of the anti-corruption system; and strengthening capacity of civil society and private sector coalitions to impact policy making and demand accountability.
Position Description: Working under the overall direction of the Chief of Party and in coordination and collaboration with project technical staff, the Director of Administration and Finance (DAF) will be responsible for the project’s financial management, human resources, procurement, grants, and administration while ensuring compliance with USAID, local laws, and Tetra Tech rules and regulations. This is anticipated to be a full-time position based in Tbilisi.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, finance, accounting, or another related field;
* Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in financial management and administration, grants experience preferred;
* Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in supervisory role related to accounting, payroll, procurement, subcontracts, and/or logistical support services;
* Demonstrated experience providing contractual and financial oversight to USAID or other complex donor-funded projects over $20 million;
*Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment;
* Detail oriented, and ability to prioritize tasks and support program implementation while ensuring adherence to requires policies and protocols;
* Accounting/audit certifications highly preferred;
* Advances Microsoft Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks required;
* Professional proficiency in English required; proficiency in Georgian preferred;
* Georgian nationals strongly encouraged to apply.
