Focus on the Audit Service
The Audit Department is made up of 5 people. The mission of its members is to ensure compliance with procedures and to carry out control missions at headquarters and in the field.
And the Donor Audit and Internal Control Officer in all this?
As Donor Audits and Internal Control Manager, you will coordinate the preparation and monitoring of the association’s external and internal audits. You will ensure compliance with procedures and you will carry out control missions at headquarters and in the field.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Preparation and monitoring of external audits : You will organize, plan and coordinate external audits. You will be the preferred contact for auditors and headquarters employees and you will centralize the requested documents and elements. You will be the focal point and relay between donors and the different services.
- Coordination and preparation of internal audits : You will adapt the internal control framework according to the needs of the missions. You will develop evaluation, analysis and monitoring tools in order to improve internal control. You will define and execute an annual internal audit plan.
- Carrying out audits within the structure : You will be in charge of preparing the visit, you will check compliance with procedures on site and you will write a summary report (analysis, malfunctions and recommendations).
- Training and capitalization : You will contribute to the initial training of expatriate and headquarters staff.

What you will need to succeed
- Training : You can demonstrate initial training in auditing, management, finance and/or accounting.
- Experience : You have at least one year of experience in a similar position in the headquarters of an international humanitarian NGO, you have experience in internal audit. Do you know the rules of the main institutional donors? This will be greatly appreciated. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? This will be an undeniable asset!
- Skills : Do you have a taste for training and supporting teams in the field? This position is for you! Do you master SAGA software? This is an essential asset!
- Required qualities : You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.
- Languages : Do you speak French and English fluently? This is essential for this position!

- Status frame
- Salary: 3200 EUR gross monthly over 12 months
- Medical coverage: 100% from health and welfare mutual insurance
- Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €10)
- Rest : 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
