Donor Relations and Donation Management Officer (CDI) At Asmae

ASSIGNMENT

Within the Resources & Communication department and under the responsibility of the Collection Manager, the Donor Relations and Donation Management Manager manages the relationship with donors on all subjects contributing to their information and loyalty. . He/she helps optimize data, tools and donor pathways and their loyalty in conjunction with internal teams, volunteers and service providers.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the follow-up of the relationship with donors and sponsors
  • Respond to requests from donors, sponsors or prospects received by mail, e-mail or telephone: writing personalized letters based on the request, sending documentation, etc.
  • Inform donors about the association’s actions and the different ways of supporting the association: donation by check, online, direct debit, unallocated, sponsorship;
  • Create donor and sponsor files in the database and enrich them with useful information for Direct Marketing
  • Manage possible disputes related to your hierarchy (reimbursement requests, direct debit errors, etc.)
  • Coordinate the writing of sponsorship newsletters with the field and volunteers
  • Manage donations and monitor service providers
  • Break down and prepare donations to the donation banks
  • Control the donation entry work done by volunteers, interns and service providers
  • Track and send tax receipts to donors
  • Manage rejections
  • Guarantee the quality of information entered into the database
  • Guarantee and monitor the work of service providers. Identify and report difficulties encountered with a view to improving collaboration.
  • Formalize and update procedures related to donation management
  • Monitor service provider invoices related to donation management and tax receipts
  • Reconcile data with the Finance department monthly and during closings and more generally, liaise on operational financial issues related to collection (e.g. monitoring of rejections, monitoring of financial costs)

Other complementary activities could be integrated in connection with donor relations, donation management and collection.

PROFILE

Training and professional skills:

  • Minimum Bac +3 training in customer relations, accounting-management, administrative and commercial management, communication, marketing.
  • You ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in fundraising, preferably in an association or NGO.
  • Computer skills essential (Office 2007 Pack, database, mailings, pivot tables).
  • Very good writing skills and good spelling skills.
  • Excellent command of the French language, both oral and written.
  • Good command of English.
  • Fluency in oral expression.

PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS

Type of contract: Permanent contract

Status: Employee

Starting position: As soon as possible

Duration of work: full-time position (37 hours/week, RTT)

Remuneration: between €30K and €34K gross annually over 12 months, depending on profile

Teleworking: possible up to 3 days/week

Place of work: position based in Montreuil (93)

Mutual insurance 70% covered by Asmae, meal vouchers with a face value of €10 including 60% covered by Asmae, Sustainable Mobility Package.
