THE INTERNSHIP.

This internship is an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and gain valuable experience in the nonprofit sector. We offer flexibility in scheduling to accommodate both your availability and the needs of our organization.

Your missions will be to:

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Conduct Research: Help identify potential donors, sponsors and funding opportunities aligned with our organization’s mission and goals.
  • Grant Writing: Collaborate with the bioforce Africa team to prepare grant proposals, ensuring accurate and compelling narratives that highlight the importance of our work.
  • Donor Communication: Help maintain relationships with existing donors through personalized and timely communications, expressing gratitude and providing updates on our projects and accomplishments.
  • Database Management: Maintain an organized donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for effective donor management.
  • Fundraising Analysis: Help track and analyze fundraising data, preparing reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Networking: Use LinkedIn to expand our network of potential donors and supporters. Contact professionals, organizations and influencers who share an interest in Bioforce. Engage in meaningful conversations, share updates, and cultivate relationships that can lead to partnerships or financial support.

DESIRED PROFILE.

Knowledge & experience

Excellent writing skills, in both English and French,

Good knowledge of the project management cycle,

Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential donors and funding opportunities,

Formation

Higher education Bac +3-4: Master International Relations, International Journalism School, International Law, or experience in donor relations and proposal writing.

Qualities

You are rigorous and know how to organize your working time,

You are proactive, dynamic, motivated and eager to learn,

You have team spirit, good interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication.

CONDITIONS.

Integration date: asap

Contract: 6 month internship

Location: Bioforce Africa, Dakar-Senegal.
