Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in the event of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or even exclusion from care. The French section is present in around thirty countries.
As part of a work-study contract , we are looking for a Donor Relations Officer M/F – Work-study program for our Collection department .
Missions:
Within the Private Fundraising department and within the donor relations team, you ensure the link between Médecins Sans Frontières and the public, donors or non-donors.
You personalize relations with them by ensuring a quality response to various requests concerning the association. You manage the administrative processing of requests and guarantee follow-up. You will be supported by an available and dynamic team!
Under the hierarchical supervision of the Department Manager, your tutor and with the team of donor relations managers, you will mainly carry out the following missions:
- Respond within the allotted time to requests from donors and the general public via the various communication channels:
- Inform people about the association’s actions and the different types of support offered;
- Welcome and direct specific audiences by telephone, such as companies, testators or large donors, to dedicated contacts;
- Monitor and alert on possible malfunctions of the CRM and data integrations from other service providers (online donation page, donation capture service provider, telemarketing service provider, etc.);
- Support other members of the team and the private fundraising department in emergency situations and during campaign periods.
- Telephone: qualitative management of incoming and outgoing telephone calls;
- E-mail: distribution and personalized response to requests arriving by e-mail;
- Mail: response to digitized requests via the ticketing tool as well as non-digital letters;
- Guarantee the updating and quality of information entered in the CRM;
- Ensure the entry of certain payments received internally in compliance with procedures;
Required profile
Training: Minimum Bac+2 level (before the work-study course). Apprenticeship in the commercial/commerce field, administration, marketing.
Experience: Sensitivity for the humanitarian sector and/or experience in associations or NGOs. Experience in donor/client relations, call center is an undeniable asset.
Skills:
You have excellent abilities to communicate both orally and in writing (spelling, grammar, synthesis).
You are recognized for your interpersonal skills, you like to convince your interlocutors and are very comfortable using the telephone.
You have excellent listening skills and know how to show empathy. You have a good general culture.
You are able to quickly acquire mastery of the business tools made available to you thanks to the training carried out throughout your career.
Good command of IT tools (Office Pack, Internet) is mandatory.

Languages: French (C2); professional English desired (B2).
Status: One-year work-study contract with possibility of renewal (Apprenticeship or Professionalization depending on profile). Position based in Paris 19th. Please attach school schedules to the application.
Conditions: Remuneration from 43% to 100% of the minimum wage depending on age and level of education.
Supplementary health care 100% covered by MSF. Restaurant vouchers with a face value of €11 (60% covered by Médecins Sans Frontières). 50% coverage of the public transport subscription.
