About Us:
AL-AMEEN for Humanitarian Support is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.
AL-AMEEN is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.
Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter &Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.
AL-AMEEN also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Driving the vehicle safely in accordance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
Transporting individuals or goods to the required destinations on time.
cleans the interior and exterior of the vehicle(s) regularly
Conducting daily vehicle inspections to ensure readiness (e.g., checking oil, water, tires, brakes).
Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out.
immediately reports all involvement of the project or office vehicle in accidents, including minor accidents, damage, loss, or theft of vehicle fittings
Adhering to the designated routes and instructions from the management.
Keeping up with regular maintenance and reporting any faults or issues with the vehicle.
Submitting daily reports on trips and mileage covered.
Punctuality, maintaining calmness, and behaving in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
assists other colleagues as needed in the project, programme or office if there is no travel pending, carries out other office work on request
when appropriate, undertake other related duties assigned by the supervisor Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be driven.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle driving.
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety practices.
- Ability to move between governorates
- Effective communication skills.
Languages:
- Arabic and Turkish are mandatory (oral and written)
