ECPM (Together against the death penalty) acts to fight against capital punishment throughout the world. The association encourages the universal abolition of the death penalty through advocacy with public authorities, the strengthening of abolitionist civil society, the creation and dissemination of publications, support for people sentenced to death, education on abolition of the death penalty in France and abroad. Since 2001, ECPM has organized the World Congress Against the Death Penalty, as well as regional congresses, in different parts of the world.
We implement programs with field partners in a dozen countries in sub-Saharan Africa, the Maghreb and the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. ECPM is also developing an Education program on abolition, human rights and citizenship in France.

Missions
Placed under the responsibility of the communications director, the digital and events communications manager is associated with defining the association’s communications strategy and will carry out the following missions:
Participates in the definition and directly implements the association’s communication strategy
Supports the international programs division and the education program to increase the visibility of ECPM and actions in France and internationally
Coordinates service providers and HR dedicated to its activity (creation & distribution)
Maintaining regular strategic exchanges with the teams of the different departments involved in the progress of its files
- Community management
Creates visual supports in accordance with our editorial line and ECPM programs
Proactive content production (text, infographics, videos, visuals, GIFs)
Continues, leads and optimizes ECPM’s development strategy on social networks (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin)
Develop interaction with the abolitionist community and its target audiences
Develops and organizes the association’s YouTube channel
Completes ECPM performance monitoring tools on social networks and analyzes the results
- Webmastering
Administers the ECPM site: ensures the latest adjustments, coordinates service providers, works on referencing
Produces original bilingual content (English/French) and updates campaigns to feed the site according to ECPM news and objectives
Produces and coordinates with the communications director the ECPM newsletter
- Events
Carry out support missions in France and abroad according to identified needs
Support the deployment of the communication necessary for the implementation and promotion of ECPM events
Produces the communication tools necessary for events
Experiences / Training
Master 2 or Master 1 level in communication, journalism, webmastering, publishing or equivalent. One or two years of experience in a similar position is an asset.
SKILLS
- Very good knowledge of web tools
- Very good writing and interpersonal skills, impeccable spelling
- Very good knowledge of social networks (FB, Instagram Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Comfort in the production and use of images adapted to social networks
- Good general culture and knowledge of human rights topics
- Management of CMS (WordPress) and coding skills appreciated
- Knowledge of the stages of creating mailings appreciated: Mailchimp, Dolist
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign) as well as video editing software
Qualities
Knowledge of the Web (WordPress) and social networks, editorial skills, rigor and responsiveness, resourceful, great interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and proactive, strength of proposal on the form of the content created, sociable, sensitive to the question of rights humans
Be a force for proposals and execution in the preparation of editorial and visual content for social networks and their moderation
LANGUAGES
Excellent command of written and oral French, and great fluency in English

Conditions
Permanent contract based in Paris (75011)
Status: CDI
Salary depending on experience.
Advantages: restaurant ticket at €11.97 (60% covered) + reimbursement of public transport costs at 50%, 2.5 days off/month, 12 days of RTT/year, mutual insurance (50%). Recovery and collective bonus system, 2 days/week of teleworking authorized
