Role & Responsibilities
To support the Engagement Marketing Department by participating in gathering, developing and providing all communication material, working with our field communications Advisor, external agencies/suppliers, and coordinating our entire brief process and annual planning. This will include coordinating content production for the entire Engagement Team, managing projects and evaluating digital metrics. Contributing to the strategies for increasing audience over multiple channels.
Project Overview
Medair Global Support Office (GSO) provides operational guidance for country programmes, along with both technical and compassionate support for our relief workers. Within our headquarters and affiliate offices, we are also responsible for promoting the work of Medair to the world, to raise and manage the funds needed to run our life-saving and sustaining programmes, and to recruit international and GSO staff. The ENG team focuses on raising awareness of Medair’s work and the humanitarian needs of the people we serve through digital platforms, media, advertisement and events. It supports by increasing the levels of awareness and engagement of people who hear about Medair, providing dynamic and accessible platforms on-line and off-line for them to show their interest and to develop their connection with us.

Key Activity Areas
Engagement Marketing projects and production Coordination
- Coordinate production of content across all channels and with affiliates according to the agreed plan
- Manage material development project plans across engagement teams (marketing, philanthropy)
- Ensure regular project status tracking so these are delivered as planned in the briefs
- Oversee right usage of guidelines and assets
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management on time—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
- Proactively engage with internal customers to understand their requirements (material, audience, timing)
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver expected material on time and on-quality
- Deepen partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
- Constantly seeks to improve coordination process: identify roadblocks and proposes solutions to be more efficient
- Lead Medair News production process
- Co-writing campaign brief along relevant stakeholders
- Train and coach others on project management tools
- Be the guardian of internal marketing and comms processes and provide inputs for improvements.

Qualifications
- Degree in International Communication, Marketing or Digital Marketing or equivalent job experience
- Strong working knowledge of English and French (spoken and written with excellent spelling skills)
Experience / Competencies
- At least two years’ work or volunteer experience in marketing project management (like assistant brand manager)
- Microsoft Office
- Trello
- Social media platforms
- Experience and understanding of multi-media communications strategies and best practices
- Project management tools (Trello.)
- Ability to work under stress with tight deadlines
- Excellent multitasking, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to working as a team in a multi-cultural environment
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
- Ability to research and develop understanding of content strategies and engagement
- Ability to digest technical information and prepare messaging for varied audiences
- Ability to develop and monitor processes involving multiple stakeholders and critical deadlines; ability to identify project milestones and deliverables
