JOB TITLE: Engineering Surveyor for Water System (Level III) design under Community Resilience through Ecological Integrity (CORE) project.
BASE LOCATION: IRPH Country Office, Cotabato City
REPORTING TO: Project WASH Engineer
Job Summary:
The surveyor will be responsible for collecting survey data for the level III water system in Datu Hoffer – Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.
Key Deliverables:
- Pro-actively engage with the Project Engineer to ensure clarity about the specific requirements for the works to be produced.
- Gather data such as elevation, bearings/directions, coordinates and other relevant parameters necessary for the water system design.
- Provide hard-copy and electronic copy of the survey result.
- Present to the CORE team the result of the survey, if necessary.
- Print drawings and provide soft and hard copies (in A3 quality paper, net and clear) of the outputs to the Project Engineer duly signed by surveyor. The soft copy should be sent to emails of concerned staffs.
- Output will be accomplished as below.
Day 1: Briefing with the Project Engineer
Day 2-3: Survey works by the surveyor
Day 4-7: Survey data consolidation by the surveyor
Day 8: First review of the output (printed copy)
Day 10-11: Revision for corrections, if any.
Day 12-13: Final Checking
Day 14: Submission of hard copy in 3 sets (duly signed by the surveyor) and soft copy of the CAD drawing.
Required Qualifications:
- Owns/operates water system survey equipment.
- At least five years’ experience in engineering survey works.
- Prior experience in survey works and drawing outputs for water supply projects is an important advantage.
- Strongly committed to the timely production of high-quality work.
- Proven ability to think critically and in an innovate way
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
- Strong analytic ability in terms of analyzing and interpreting provided information
- Demonstrated ability in the successful and timely completion of similar assignments in the past
