REACH is an international humanitarian initiative founded in 2010, the product of a collaboration between two international NGOs, ACTED and IMPACT Initiatives, and the UNOSAT program of the United Nations. REACH teams prepare needs assessments and sectoral and multi-sectoral assessments.
The organization will soon be conducting an assessment of the impacts, perspectives and resilience of children and adolescents in contexts of human mobility in different municipalities of the state of Maracaibo, Venezuela, for which it is seeking to hire interviewers who can support the implementation of household surveys.

AIM

Under the direct supervision of the field coordinator, the facilitator will, as needed, direct, accompany, and take notes during focus groups with children and adolescents (NNA) in communities/settlements in Maracaibo, Venezuela. REACH will provide the files, access, information, training, and tools necessary for activities to be carried out effectively and with the expected quality.
To ensure the effectiveness of the activities, the facilitator must obtain informed consent and assent from each focus group participant, direct conversation spaces with minors and adults, take notes on conversations, conclusions, and expressions that occur in the spaces, in compliance with data protection policies and other project protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Attend in-person induction sessions, training,
focus groups and interviews scheduled during the period designated for the evaluation.
– Maintain communication with the field coordinator, evaluation officers and other internal entities according to instructions received during the training;
– Provide support to the qualitative information collection activity by participating as a facilitator in the focus groups and as a rapporteur in the interviews scheduled according to methodological, operational and quality instructions given by the REACH team.
– Present reports and/or reports according to instructions given by the evaluation and
field coordination officer.
– Keep strict confidentiality of all information to which you have access and knowledge during the development of surveys;
– Respect the humanitarian principles, policies, tools, processes, manuals, guidelines
and codes of conduct of REACH-ACTED.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS:
– Demonstrable experience of at least six (6) months in the humanitarian sector, especially in working with children and adolescents in Zulia.
– Permanent resident in Maracaibo with knowledge of the geography, culture, social and community actors of the municipality.
– Willingness to assist and provide the service with regular and face-to-face assistance in
Maracaibo, Zulia.
– Experience with qualitative methodology, writing texts, application of interviews and
focus groups with children and adolescents.
– Demonstrate understanding and management of information and communications technologies.
– Experience in social projects, NGOs or in the humanitarian sector will be viewed favorably.

CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS

– Contract for the provision of services for 1 month, with payment per day actually worked.
– Payment will be made at the end of the provision of services.
– 100% face-to-face modality, with trips to urban and peripheral areas of Maracaibo.
