Focus on the Information System

The Information System is made up of 3 people. The mission of its members is to support the headquarters and field teams in the use and development of IT tools.

And the Field IT Deployment Manager in all this?

As a Volant.e IT and Cyber ​​Security Technician? You will ensure the deployment, optimal use and maintenance of IT infrastructures and tools used in the field. You will ensure that the entire ICT structure in the field is maintained in operational conditions for the missions concerned.

To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Coordination and support for the deployment and maintenance of IT devices (server and cybersecurity solutions) on missions: You will participate in the choice of target missions and you will ensure the provision of equipment, services, documents necessary for the activities to be carried out on the ground. You will ensure the deployment of the chosen hardware and software solutions and will establish the necessary framework for their use and daily maintenance. You will ensure that the IT teams are fully involved in the installation, start-up and regular operation stages of equipment and software.

Support for field IT teams: You will provide second and third level support for field IT teams in person and remotely and you will provide and deploy framework and support documents thus ensuring the proper functioning and optimal use of IT systems and the implementation of good practices. You will ensure that the tools necessary for support and exchanges between headquarters and field are put in place. You will ensure effective monitoring of field requests and provide responses within a reasonable time frame. You will promote the establishment of an “IT community” bringing together the relevant field focal points.

Monitoring and optimization of hardware and software used on missions: You will ensure the proper functioning of system and network infrastructures and optimize the management of the missions’ IT assets. You will support the preparation of user workstations based on the association’s standard, including Windows images, application packs, functional and security update packs. You will support the implementation of good practices related to the maintenance of IT hardware (system/network infrastructure, client workstations and peripherals) and the management of funds for the software used (use, renewal of licenses, etc.). You will participate in maintaining the inventory of the Association’s computer equipment.

Reporting, training and capitalization tools: You will contribute to the writing of educational materials for field teams. You will organize and lead training and awareness sessions before and during your visits to target missions. You will be in charge of defining a framework for regular reporting and activity management. You will be in charge of writing and sharing visit reports and recommendations with the teams concerned.

The challenges that await you:

What you will need to succeed

Training

You can provide proof of Bachelor’s or Bac +3 training in IT, systems administration and digital networks.

Experience

You have experience in a similar position at the headquarters of an NGO or you have professional experience of at least 2 years. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? This will be an undeniable asset!

SKILLS

You master Win 2012 R2, Win XP, Win 7 Win 10, SharePoint administration, PowerShell and PHP scripts, Office Suite 2016, 2019 tools, AIK, Clonezilla, Syncovery, Microsoft Azure, Office 365 applications: Exchange, SharePoint , OneDrive, Teams, LAN networks, Wifi, and finally MySQL databases, SQL server.

Required qualities

You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness, adaptability and you have negotiation skills.

Status frame

Salary: 3100 EUR gross monthly over 12 months

Medical coverage: 80% of health and welfare mutual insurance

Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €9)

Rest : 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
