- THE COMPANY
Conflict Management Consulting ((click on the “Apply now” button)) provides services in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), research and technical assistance in fragile, conflict and post-conflict areas. We work for international organisations, governments and civil society, deploying multi-national and highly specialised teams of experts. Our in-house staff and global network of consultants have provided services to clients in the thematic fields of stabilisation, peacebuilding, migration, humanitarian action and governance, focusing on the humanitarian-development nexus, as well as expertise on violent extremism (VE).
- THE JOB
CMC is currently preparing an offer for an assignment for Third Party Monitoring (TPM) services in Ukraine, under the United States Agency for International Development(USAID)/Ukraine Monitoring and Learning Support Contract (UMLS).
The TPM focus on key areas of implementation within Ukraine, on two thematic areas: Energy and Health.
The main objectives of TPM are:
- Verifying Implementing Partner (IP) reports regarding inputs and/or outputs;
- Collecting beneficiary feedback;
- Analysis and triangulation of data;
- Tracking broader political, social, and economic context; and,
- Responding to special requests (e.g. assessment of conflict).
The position is part time in Ukraine.
The initial timeline for the TPM is 12 months.
- TASKS
The Field Monitors will visit the sites of project implementation where they will conduct site visits and verifications of project activities, and will be recruited based on geographic location of project sites.
- QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will cover all or most of the below criteria.
Requirements:
- Formal education in field related to social science, research or market research, logistics, health
- Minimum 1-year experience in qualitative or quantitative data collection.
- Fluency in English and Ukrainian is essential.
- Experience using mobile data collection tools (KOBO, ODK) is desired.
- Extensive understanding of the local context in Ukraine.
- Locations in Ukraine based on project locations.
