IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian NGO, based in Geneva, Switzerland, that was launched on the initiative of ACTED. The organization manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative. The IMPACT team is made up of specialists in data collection, management and analysis and GIS, as well as field coordinators. IMPACT has been present in Colombia and Venezuela since 2019 where it has carried out needs assessments and diverse markets in support of humanitarian partners in both countries with financial support from donors governmental and multilateral such as BHA, SDC and ECHO.
ACTED and IMPACT have strong complementarity formalized in a global partnership, allowing IMPACT to benefit from ACTED’s operational support in its fields of intervention.
POST PROFILE: Under the supervision of the Acted Finance Manager, the Finance Officer is in charge of the accounting and financial management of REACH projects at the national level (Colombia-Venezuela) and the preparation of financial reports to donors, guarantee compliance with the country’s legislation and the application of the specific rules of the mission in Colombia. This is done with the constant concern to defend the interests of the ACTED association and the proper use of resources, which will be carried out under the supervision of the Finance Manager.

OBJECTIVES
- Ensure compliance with Acted financial processes
- Support in budget monitoring of REACH projects
- Support donors in financial reports for REACH projects
Functions
- Review of purchase records for expenses related to REACH projects to ensure the correct application of the Acted processes and the proper use of funds
- Preparation of Acted Financial Sheets for REACH projects
- Monitoring of REACH project budgets ( review of imputations, analysis of indicators, coordination with other departments and REACH program teams to review projections and mitigate financial risks )
- Updating of allocation tables for REACH project staff in consultation with IMPACT-REACH management
- Support in the formulation of new REACH project budgets
- Support in preparing financial reports for donors for REACH projects
- Compilation and review of supporting documentation to share with donors for REACH projects
- Timely support to the Transparency and Compliance department in case of audit of REACH projects
- Carry out any other activity related to the objective of the contract, as well as all those other functions that due to the characteristics inherent to its position and conditions are assigned to it.
Requirements
