Finance Officer – DCSP At Palladium International

Project Overview and Role:

The Finance Officer is responsible for providing effective financial and administrative support for the Defence Scholarship Cooperation Program (DCSP) administered by Palladium. Financial management and support services are to be provided in accordance with the contracted schedule of services between Palladium and the Department of Defence. In addition to supporting the DCSP Program Manager with key finance tasks, the role will also enable the successful candidate to provide ongoing project administration and scholar support to the DCSP team on an ongoing basis as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Financial Support Responsibilities include:

· End to end management of the DCSP Fund Account

· Monthly reconciliation of the DCSP Fund Account

· Preparation of monthly Acquittal Report

· Preparation of monthly Fund Account Invoice for program funds

· Preparation of monthly Management Fee Invoice

· Monthly, 6 monthly, and annual reporting of DCSP Program funds

· Collating documentation for funding expenditure as requested by auditors

· Reconcile fund accounts to the bank statements and general ledger in accordance with the month end timetable

· Correcting any reconciliation variances.

Key Administrative and Project Support Responsibilities include:

· Booking scholar return flights at the end of each Semester

· Assessing candidate University applications annually

· Scholar communications and engagement

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar Finance Officer or Finance Support type role.
