Description of Duties

  • Financial management of projects (ECHO, DG NEAR, BHA, UNDP…)
  • Monthly BvA updates
  • Verification of the eligibility of all expenses
  • Focal point on all finance related questions
  • Participation in audits
  • Preparation of financial reports
  • Personnel project expenses management (ECHO, DG NEAR, BHA, UNDP…)
  • Management and approval of all personnel expenses on our online platform
  • Training of personnel on the online platform
  • Focal point for all personnel expenses
  • Proposal development: in close coordination with the project managers, development of budgets for various proposals
  • Verification of field offices’ accountancy
  • Monthly verification of each field offices’ accountancy and respond to any questions
  • Verification of the accounting documents
  • Support to the field offices on our accounting software SAGA
  • Participation in internal audits during field visits

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Administration or relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a humanitarian context in the field and preferably in finance
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement
  • Knowledge of French accountancy is preferable
  • Knowledge of French is preferable
