The Roles
Palladium has two vacancies in the Finance team for one of our international scholarship programs:
Finance Officer
Finance & Procurement Officer
Working under the leadership of an experienced Finance Manager, you will support the management and administration of finances and financial accountability across the program. Both positions will contribute to budgeting, financial management, grants disbursement, financial management reporting, and audit reports.
For one position there will be an additional focus on procurement administration, however, we encourage team work and flexible work options such as job rotation.
You will work as part of a highly experienced and passionate program team, with the opportunity to develop and showcase your capability across the full Finance function.
Palladium offers a competitive salary for a long term contract up to 30 June 2029. We offer flexible work options to support wellbeing and success. This position will be Canberra based (no visa sponsorship or relocation available for the roles).
About you
Drawing on you r career in finance, with experience in a project or international development setting being highly regarded, you will bring:
Qualifications in finance/accounting or demonstrated equivalent experience in that field.
Financial administrative support experience, which may include the provision of administrative support for procurement activity.
High level of proficiency with financial management systems and Microsoft Office programs, in particular MS Word and Excel.
Capability in the use of information system/s for efficient and seamless program administration.
High level of attention to detail including accurate data management.
Excellent client focus, with proven capability to respond quickly and efficiently to client issues to meet tight deadlines and understand users’ needs.
Strong interpersonal and social skills including cross-cultural experience and communication skills, and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
Well-developed and proactive diagnostic, problem solving and troubleshooting skills competency and ability to implement solutions as appropriate.
