France – Accounting Assistant At International Solidarities

WHAT DO WE DO …

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for nearly 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating and shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion hygiene but also in the essential aspect of food security and means of existence. Present in around twenty countries, the SI teams – 2,000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER

Under the responsibility of the Accounting and Headquarters Flow Monitoring Manager, you work in close collaboration with other employees of the Financial Department.

The accounting assistant ensures:

Entry of supplier invoices allocated to head office budgets
Lettering of supplier, partner, employee and customer accounts (excluding lessors)
Monitoring of vouchers to pay supplier invoices,
Monitoring of head office and collection debit notes
Entry and verification of notes of personnel costs,
The entry of part of the various operations linked to headquarters and expatriate staff,
The classification and electronic archiving of headquarters accounting documents.
Reconciliation of accounting data in connection with our donor database
Participates in the creation of audit files carried out by our Statutory Auditors and external audits carried out by our donors

The accounting assistant may also occasionally support field accounting officers in the preparation and analysis of monthly accounting packs received from the field:

Preparation of the integration of accounting
Verification of letters and documents sent by email

YOUR PROFILE

Higher education Bac to BAC +3 BTS/DUT in Management Accounting at DECF, Master or equivalent
A first experience in general and analytical accounting is a plus
Mastery of IT tools, in particular use of database (Excel) and accounting software.
Rigor and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomous, flexible and enthusiastic

Interest in humanitarian work or international experience in developing countries and proficiency in English (oral and written) will be a plus

Work-study program based at the SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL headquarters in Clichy (92), metro Clichy Town Hall
Apprenticeship contract
Monthly gross remuneration: according to the rules in force
Public transport 50% covered by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
Possibility of teleworking: 4 days of Teleworking per month. In accordance with the Teleworking Charter in force and the manager.
Leave: 2.0833 CP/month
Restaurant vouchers at €8.90/day of internship, with 60% participation from SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
