THE MISSION

The Deputy Management Controller joins a desk team that supports and monitors the work of several SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL intervention countries. Supporting the desk management controller, he/she performs numerous reviews of financial information, focusing his/her efforts on monitoring cost accounting, cash management and administrative monitoring. In addition, this position provides regular support in the field during support visits, or to ensure the transition to vacant positions.

For this position open for two months, the aim is to support the current team already present at CDG + CDGA to absorb a temporary additional load.

You have field experience in a finance position, you want to work at the headquarters of a dynamic association while maintaining a lot of interactions with the field, you like financial and human challenges, you like collaborating with international teams, this position is made for you. You master Excel and English, you are rigorous, dynamic and creative, you will be able to meet the many challenges of this position.

Joining the DESK Blue team, you will participate in the financial management of Solidarités International activities in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Chad-Cameroon, Togo-Benin.

Through 3 essential pillars of the position: Financial control of missions and subsidies; Audit and Administration; Accounting and treasury.

DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER

The Deputy Management Controller works at (non-exhaustive list):

Monthly review and control of the analytical accounting of the desk missions, ensuring the correct allocation of costs in accordance with internal procedures and donor rules.
Donor audits carried out at headquarters, and the preparation of all necessary financial information.
Review and control of project proposals prepared by the missions before submission to donors.
Review and control of project budget monitoring. Review and
control of interim and final financial reports prepared by the desk missions before submission to donors.
Preparation of closing sheets for completed projects.
Review and control of contracts, reports and payments made to mission implementation partners.
Review and control of the shared cost allocation table for each of the desk missions, as well as the mission budget monitoring.
Participation in work to improve the management control team’s tools.

The Management Controller also regularly visits the field teams of the desk’s missions, to provide technical support but also to take financial responsibilities in the event of the absence of a team member on site.

YOUR PROFILE

Training in finance, management or project management
First experience in an NGO in a financial position in the field, desired.
Mastery of the most common office software (Word and Excel)
Knowledge of SAGA accounting software is a plus

IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

Position based at the organization’s headquarters in Clichy (92), Mairie de Clichy metro station, with 30% of the time spent traveling in the field
Employee, executive status. Fixed-term contract until December 31, 2024.
Possibility of teleworking: 4 or 12 days of teleworking per month or 100% teleworking with 3 days of mandatory face-to-face time per month (TT package paid monthly). In accordance with the Teleworking Charter in force and the manager.
Gross monthly salary €2,865 or €2,985 depending on profile and experience,
25 days of vacation and 12 days of RRT / year
Mutual insurance (80%), meal vouchers (60%), transport tickets (50%) covered by the association; teleworking package (if 100% option)
Recovery days and medical coverage covered 100% during field trips.
