OXUS
OXUS is a microfinance network created in 2005 on the initiative of Acted. OXUS currently brings together 3 microfinance institutions (MFIs), in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan, for a total microcredit portfolio of approximately €40m and more than 48k active clients.
ACTED France (HQ)
Acted’s headquarters was established in Paris in 2000 with the aim of coordinating the organization’s interventions on a global scale. Today the headquarters is made up of 110 people in the HR, Finance, Programs, Audit, Security, Logistics & Systems and Communication departments. These departments provide support to the 42 Country Directorates. The headquarters also serves as a focal point for Acted’s management, namely the General Director, the Development Director and the fifteen members of the Board of Directors.
Main role and responsibilities
Based at headquarters in direct contact with the Investment Manager, you will carry out the following missions:
• Monitoring and control of the 3 OXUS Microfinance Institutions: financial analysis and management control of
financial statements
• Monitoring and control of internal control tools
• Updating management tools for the Investment Manager
• Market analysis on social impact finance and environmental
• Preparation of management presentation to partners and financiers
• Participation in strategic governance meetings and taking minutes
Qualifications and skills required
- IEP, Business School, higher education in Management, Finance, Sustainability, or equivalent
- Skills in finance, investment, and impact/sustainability
- Ability to take responsibility and work under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
- Dynamic, autonomous and proactive
- Detail-oriented and able to produce well-formatted and structured reports and presentations
- Interest in emergency aid, impact investment, and international development programs
Terms
- Monthly compensation of €1000 net
- Restaurant vouchers
- 50% of transport tickets covered (Pass Navigo)
- Mandatory internship agreement
- Ideally end-of-study internship, or gap year
- No work-study or work-study internship
