SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for more than 40 years, has been supporting
relief to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting vital needs, drinking, eating, shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsanitary water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and the promotion of hygiene but also in the essential field of food security and livelihoods. Present in around twenty countries, SI teams – 2000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of a team of 6 people, supporting the growth of the organization, the Procurement Manager is responsible for supplies (international purchasing and import-export for all Solidarités International missions). He/she also ensures stock management and actively provides monitoring and advice to logistics teams on international supply.
He/she works under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager and in close collaboration with the purchasing manager, supervises the work of the department assistant.
The Procurement Officer:
• Will supervise and/or directly manage (depending on the situation) international purchases and import-export for all Solidarités International missions
• Will make the purchases necessary for the constitution or restocking of contingency and emergency stock
• Will be in charge of stock management (field / contingency / after-sales service / emergency)
• Will also participate in the adaptation, development and/or creation of tools and procedures for the purchasing and supply services.
YOUR PROFILE
- Initial technical training in logistics and significant experience in logistics professions
- Initial field experience in an NGO, particularly in emergency humanitarian responses, particularly logistics, would be a plus.
- Rigor, ability to analyze and organize, manage priorities.
- Computer skills essential (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Technical specialization (international transport, inventory management, etc.) would be an asset
- Fluent in French and English (very good level of reading, writing and speaking).
IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
• Position based at the headquarters of Solidarités International, in Clichy la Garenne (Mairie de Clichy metro station) with possible travel to the field
• Permanent contract – Executive status
• Gross monthly salary of: €2,784 or €2,900 depending on the scale in force at the head office
• Possibility of teleworking: 4 days of teleworking per month, in accordance with the teleworking charter in force and the manager.
• Leave: 2.0833 CP/month and 1 day of RTT/full month of work
• Mutual insurance (80%), meal vouchers (60%), transport tickets (50%) covered by the association
