WHAT TYPE OF PROFESSIONAL ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a person with extensive experience (minimum 3 years) in economic management of projects linked to the third sector with solid experience in the financial requirements of public and private donors, especially the EC.
With the following personal skills:
– Organization and planning.
– Teamwork and great motivation
– Ease of analyzing and systematizing information.
– Ability to work autonomously and with initiative.
-Excellent communication skills and training in economic management for grassroots social entities.
FUNCTIONS
The Administrator will design and monitor the administrative-financial part of all phases of the project:
1) During the design, project evaluation and resolution of the funding call :
-will participate in its publication: adapting the formats and developing the financial selection criteria, as well as risk management, ensuring compliance with Educo and CE standards.
-will participate in the evaluation of the CSOs and the proposals they present: evaluating compliance with financial criteria and risk.
-will provide support to the CSOs that present their proposals.
At the level of capacity building of CSOs :
-design and implement the criteria to identify the needs of CSOs at an administrative-financial level.
-will develop actions to strengthen them.
Financial monitoring from the EC to Educo:
**-**will be responsible for the management and execution of the budget,
-monitor and manage the budget ensuring efficient and transparent use of resources.
-will support the general coordination of the project by providing financial control information.
-preparation of reports for the EC.
Financial monitoring of selected projects:
-design and implement the financial monitoring system
-will be responsible for approving payments of aid granted to entities.
REQUIREMENTS
-Training at the diploma or university degree level related to finance, accounting, administration or a related field (business administration, finance and accounting, etc.).
– Experience in the financial administration of projects, especially with projects subsidized by the European Commission.
– Availability to travel in Spain (20% of the time).
– Solid financial analysis, planning and management capabilities
– User-level domain of the MS package. Office.
Desirable:
– Catalan and English.
LOCATION:
Barcelona o Madrid.
CONDITIONS AND DURATION OF THE CONTRACT
Remuneration: according to the organization’s scales.
Type of Contract and Duration: full-time for a total of 36 months, extendable.
