Job Purpose
The Fundraising & Events Assistant will support GOAL’s Fundraising team to drive growth of GOAL’s corporate fundraising portfolio and major community fundraising campaigns.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Roll out GOAL’s national campaigns for a corporate audience (e.g., Jersey Day), under the guidance of the Corporate and Community Fundraising Managers.
- Support the coordination of all campaign elements including planning, content gathering and development of all promotional elements for corporate-facing fundraising campaigns and events.
- Help implement digital and social media marketing strategies to promote GOAL Jersey Day, the GOAL Mile and other fundraising campaigns as directed.
- Regularly monitor and report on relevant campaign KPIs such as Income, Engagement and Reach.
- Conduct campaign reviews to ascertain ROI & feed learnings into future plans.
- Identify ways to maximise income based on previous experience / learnings and look for new ideas to support income generation.
- Build strong relationships with external partners to deliver high quality campaigns.
- Provide administrative, communications and events support to other members of the fundraising team when required.
The Person
- 1 year + experience in fundraising/marketing/sales including strong campaign management and fundraising growth with proven ability to reach fundraising/business development goals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized with ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask.
- High levels of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- The ability to travel when required to fundraising meetings across Ireland/N.Ireland.
Desirable
- Flexibility to work occasionally outside normal working hours to attend special events, volunteer meetings and other events.
- The successful candidate will need to show reasonable flexibility in relation to hours of attendance to meet the needs of the work.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to deliver fully integrated campaigns.
- Creativity and innovation in the development and implementation of marketing planning.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
**GOAL offers staff flexible working with our hybrid model, we require our HQ employees to work 2 days per week from our office in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin**
