The ideal candidate is an experienced individual fundraiser with an engaging writing style, possessing the emotive and persuasive skills to attract supporters through engaging campaigns and is able to convert their engagement into individual donations. You are equally happy communicating with individual donors, answering enquiries and analysing data. You can identify trends, turning these into result driven strategies.

You are focussed on how best to (re-)engage and enthuse our supporters and enhance their long-term loyalty. You will be a key contributor to the fundraising and communications team, and responsible for delivering the best possible “donor journeys” and support to individual donors.

The applicant we are looking for will have at least 3 years of relevant fundraising experience, is accurate, has a hands-on approach, and strong inter-cultural communications skills. We are seeking a real team player with a sincere interest in the topic of human and women’s rights, who is keen to work in a young and growing non-profit organisation with an international working environment.

About Us

The Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation is an international human rights

The Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation is an international human rights organisation, dedicated to ending sexual violence as a weapon of war globally. The Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation supports survivors’ demands for a world where sexual violence as a weapon of war is no longer tolerated, and bears consequences for individual perpetrators and states. We work for a future where survivors receive the holistic care and compensation they need to rebuild their lives. We create opportunities for survivors to speak out and be heard, and where they can organise to create change, influence policies, and demand justice and accountability.

We are working towards a future where sexual violence in conflict is no longer seen as inevitable, but is recognised for what it is: a crime that should have consequences. We want the international community to draw a line against wartime sexual violence and to hold states and individuals accountable. See www.mukwegefoundation.org.
