JOB OBJECTIVES:
As part of a team of 8 people, you ensure the accounting monitoring of our various activities and participate in half-yearly and annual closing operations.
We are looking for an accounting profile capable of adapting to a changing environment.
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibility 1: Ensure the maintenance of general and auxiliary accounting within your scope
- Record accounting entries in the financial information system (NAVISION)
- Ensure that supplier invoices are validated by an authorized signatory and assigned to a budget code
- Prepare payments for recorded supplier invoices
- Control and justify third-party accounts
- Prepare tax returns within your scope
- Account for fixed asset and inventory transactions
- Record transactions relating to financing contracts according to the instructions provided by the contract managers
Responsibility 2: Participate in half-yearly and annual closing operations
- Justify the balance sheet and expense accounts
- Prepare supporting documents requested by auditors
Responsibility 3: Participate in the department’s various projects
- Contribute to the evolution of professional practices
- Ensure team spirit is maintained
REQUIRED PROFILE:
- You have initial experience in an accounting department (long-term internship or work-study program)
- You know the accounts and accounting rules
- You have a good command of Excel and are familiar with office tools such as Word and Outlook
- You demonstrate rigor and you have a good ability to organize yourself as well as to work in a team in a changing environment.
- You have a minimum level of B1 in English
ACCESSIBILITY OF THE WORKPLACE:
The premises are easily accessible by public transport (bus, metro). A car park and a bicycle park are also available. Within the building, access ramps and elevators guarantee better circulation. All workstations are located in Open Space but boxes are available on each floor to work in peace if necessary. The workspace is very bright.
