Responsibilities

Creative is accepting applications for Technical Specialists for the anticipated USAID-funded Agriculture Program in Middle East Region. The Program will strengthen the competitiveness of climate smart food and agriculture system, promote export diversification, enhance local agricultural market systems in the Middle East Region, and attract new private investment into the sector.

Technical specialists will manage and provide overall technical contributions to their area of focus while ensuring that program objectives are achieved.

We are seeking long-term candidates to serve as technical experts in the following areas:

  • Market systems development
  • Export-facilitation
  • Agriculture & Productivity
  • Climate-Smart Agriculture
  • Blended Finance
  • Agribusiness
  • TVET in Agriculture Sector
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Private Sector Engagement
  • Enterprise Development
  • Access to Finance

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business, agriculture, economics, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of demonstrable experience in one or more of the technical and operational areas outlined above.
  • Minimum eight years of experience working with the private sector and agribusiness in Egypt preferred.
  • Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders in the public and private sector, other donors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with USAID or similar donor operating procedures, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Advanced professional proficiency in Arabic and English required.
