An exciting opportunity to head up the Global Corporate Relations Adviser Functions for a leading international NGO.
What we are looking for
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic Global Corporate Relations Adviser – Norway.
Global corporate relations are required to provide global leadership, capacity building and guidance to ensure diverse funding and multiyear partnerships that bring in resources are created at all levels of the organization in line with NRCs overall mandate and strategy to bring value to the people we work with.
The Global Corporate Partnership Adviser is responsible for managing a partnership portfolio and building pipeline with new partners through grants and pro bono opportunities. The person needs to be able to deliver on their goals and work with the team on joint opportunities. The person will be overseen by a line manager and a technical line manager to strengthen and expand corporate fundraising in the corporate global unit.
What you will do
- Cultivate new private sector partnerships and manage active relationships with partners, through different approaches such as grants and pro bono with required return of investment.
- Contribute to implementing NRC’s fundraising strategy
- Give training and support to the organization
- Market analysis, mapping and research
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising income, activities and costs
- Develop and conduct compliance procedures and due diligence/vetting on potential partners.

What you will bring
- Minimum 3 years of documented relevant experience within marketing, business development, sales or other relevant professional qualifications
- Documented professional knowledge of the private corporate sector marked
- Documented results related to strategic relationship building, partnerships and networking
- Documented abilities to simultaneously manage numerous tasks, project schedules and documents
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Experience in contributing to developing and implementing fundraising and market strategies and activities
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal

- Duty station: Oslo, Norway (Hybrid work model) Contract: Fixed term, 1 years

- Salary/benefits: Grade 8 on NRC’s Head Office salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
