This is an exciting opportunity to grow NRC’s funding by soliciting single donations from private individuals globally and across multiple channels. We are looking for an adviser that will contribute to build and execute strategies to fundraise and find new ways of fundraising from private individuals.
What we are looking for:
NRC is seeking a Self-starter and a highly qualified “Global Fundraising Adviser” with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing income-generating activities using direct marketing tools for fundraising activities.
What you will do:
Some of your specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for development of donor journeys and fundraising products in cooperation with the Single Donation team, e.g., direct marketing, postal and digital marketing, specializing in e-mail marketing.
- Responsible for the Direct Mail channel: Planning, testing, monitoring results, and meeting income budgets.
- Responsible for Leads: Planning, testing, monitoring results, converting, and meeting income budget, including developing and implementing strategy on leads conversion.
- Responsible for high quality content requests for marketing and fundraising activities. Tailoring text and content for fundraising purposes and various target groups and segments.
- Manage and implement fundraising campaigns and activities.
- Support on research and market assessments for new fundraising opportunities

What you will bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience within fundraising or marketing, Higher education, minimum bachelor’s degree level, from marketing, communication, or other relevant area.
- Documented experience in developing and implementing income-generating activities.
- Documented experience with direct marketing tools for fundraising activities.
- Excellent communications and marketing skills and understanding of donor centric approach.
- Experience with email and/or SMS marketing and knowledge of how to operate a marketing automation tool.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Analytical and structured
- Strong cooperation skills
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.

- Duty station: Oslo, Norway.
- Contract: National 1 year contract.
- Salary/benefits: Grade 8 on NRC’s regional salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
