THE OPPORTUNITY

The Global Senior HR Manager is accountable delivering the global people strategy in close partnership with Foundation Leadership and the People and Organisational Development team.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced HR professional with highly developed interpersonal skills, which enable you to effectively influence and build positive relationships with leaders and colleagues at all levels. Ideally, you have experience working within multinational organizations and possess strong cross-cultural awareness. Additionally, you have a proven track record in setting up shared service centres.

Your strong communication skills allow you to provide clear and concise advice and convey ideas effectively, both in spoken and written English. As a big-picture thinker, you can apply best practice HR approaches tailored to local contexts. This is a truly global role, supporting stakeholders across 25+ countries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the POD Director with organisation wide strategic workforce planning. Leading the implementation of organisational design, role design, and change management of people related organisational changes.
  • Supporting the development and execution of a shared service centre (location to be determined).
  • Ensuring operational excellence by collaborating with the People Partners to drive effective implementation and embedding of HR initiatives and delivery of tactical and strategic HR solutions.
  • Collaborating with the People Partners to operate effectively by providing appropriate knowledge, access to relevant information & tools, guidance on prioritisation and coaching.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate tracking and reporting for activities related to risk & incidents, remuneration and other compliance and governance related reporting as required.
  • Keeping abreast of all areas of employment related policies, processes, compliance and issue management by monitoring and managing employee related industry and legislative compliance and acting as escalation point to effectively resolve complex employee relations issues within legal framework, as well as organisational values.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Extensive experience in a cross-country/ regional generalist role, within global or multinational organisations
  • Extensive experience leading and delivering a global agenda of HR initiatives
  • Experience working within and/or setting up shared services
  • Collaborating with diverse and complex senior stakeholders, developing relationships and providing advice, with a track record of delivering results
  • Demonstrated understanding of employment law across numerous jurisdictions, with a key focus on Asia.
  • Experience as a member of a leadership team with demonstrated ability to contribute to collective decision-making to produce the right outcome for the organisation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a key requirement for this role.
