Grants Management Manager At Danish Refugee Council

Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Grants Management Manager to drive forward the oversight and management of the portfolio in Libya to support the growth of our portfolio and ensure we are operating with efficiency and accountability.

About the job

This role focuses around the development of high quality funding proposals, ensuring compliance with donor and internal DRC rules and regulations including being the main focal point with donors, leading on donor reporting, coordinating proposals and fundraising stratgey development, donor mapping, grants management and consortium management as well as developing direct line reports and supporting programme team.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

· Oversee, refine and devise grants and contract management systems and processes **

· Develop and maintain up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of donor and government policies and support implementing teams to ensure full compliance with donor rules and requirements**

· Draft, review and provide support in the negotiation of project agreements, including sub-agreements, teaming agreements and memoranda of understanding **

· Coordinate proposal development process **

· Lead on donor reporting, kick off meeting and grant closure meetings**

· Lead on the fundraising strategy with the Head of Programme**

· Lead on the management of DRC-led consortia **

· Support development of Partnerships strategy and database**

· Lead on external engagement and communication with donors on existing and future grants**

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have several years experience working with INGO’s including working with institutional donors giving the applicant strong knowledge on donor regulations and compliance as well as an up-to-date understanding of donor priorities. Donor engagement is key so the applicant is required to be fully proficient in English (written and spoken) and excellent coordination and communication across multi-cultural teams and the ability to deliver high quality outputs under short time frames. Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

· 3-5 years working with INGOs

· Experience developing large proposals for institutional donors such as BHA, FCDO, and UN agencies

· Proficient written and spoken English

· Knowledge of donor rules, regulations and priorities

· Ability to work and communicate well under short time frames

Desirable

· Consortia management experience

· Management experience

· Remote working experience
