Focus on our activities in BURKINA

PUI has been working in Burkina Faso since July 2020 through activities to maintain the continuum of care for populations affected by the crisis in the Eastern region (Fada, Gayéri, Pama, Diappaga and Bogandé districts), the Sahel (Sebba district) and in Boucle du Mouhoun (Boromo). PUI’s intervention is structured around two pillars: supporting the resilience of the healthcare system and emergency response through the deployment of mobile clinics. These projects, supported by the CDCS, ECHO and the Humanitarian Fund, are part of an integrated approach: PUI supports the provision of primary and secondary healthcare in the supported health centers, rehabilitates water points, manages malnutrition and referrals of emergencies to the secondary level, and provides food assistance. PUI works on several projects with a national partner and an international partner.
