About The Project
Lomami National Park, established in 2016, is the youngest national park in the Democratic Republic of Congo and a high-priority conservation area. This pristine wilderness, created with local community cooperation, is home to bonobos, forest elephants, rare pangolins, and other unique species. FZS collaborates with the Congolese Institute for Nature Conservation (ICCN) to co-manage the park, aiming to develop sustainable financing and contribute to the long-term preservation of this globally significant ecosystem.
Your Tasks
- Oversee and ensure transparent financial management and reporting
- Develop and implement effective financial and administrative systems
- Manage local bank accounts and cash flow
- Prepare annual financial statements and audits
- Support human resources management and staff motivation
- Ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, management or related field or an equivalent qualification
- 5+ years of senior management experience in administration & finance
- Relevant leadership experience
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with international organizations or overseas work is an advantage
- Ability to work in challenging environments and travel to remote areas
