Head of Research and Programme Policy at ActionAid

ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good. We won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.

We are looking for a dynamic Head of team, to oversee a mixed portfolio of technical, programming, policy and research work. You will have the ability to lead and oversee technical programming inputs to ensure AA’s programmes adhere to highest standards and bring transformative impact on the lives of women and girls.

You will lead and enable others to produce policy analysis and research work on women’s rights and international development, including on violence against women and girls, and women’s economic rights. Through leadership of a multi-disciplinary team, you will input into advocacy, communications and fundraising messaging across the organisation. Working as part of a feminist management team, you will contribute to the cohesive leadership of the busy International Development Policy and Practice team.
