Here’s where you come in:

As the Head of Resource Development, you will lead WV China’s marketing and fundraising efforts, including the development, planning and implementation of strategy, team management, and organisational capacity building. With specific focus to growing WV China’s income from diaspora, foreign-funded enterprises, foundations, and high net worth individuals, you will be responsible to creatively formulate appropriate marketing strategies to generate, retain and grow resources within these market segments in order to support WV China’s programs, in alignment with the needs of the children and communities they serve. You will also ensure cross-functional capacity building plans are in place and that the organisation is investing in the right mix of capabilities required for sustainable retention and growth of private donors.

Requirements include:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Marketing Management in a complex, international organization (preferably in an International NGO context).
• Experience working in developing country/resource-constrained contexts.
• Experience in a marketing / fundraising function.
• Experience in donor marketing and relations / engagement.
• Degree and/ higher professional qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration, and/or Fundraising related fields.
• 30% Travel required.
