DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSOCIATION
La Chaîne de l’Espoir is an international NGO founded in 1994. Its mission is to strengthen health systems to give everyone, and in particular children, the same chances of survival and development. We operate in 28 countries with a global approach, focused on the child but also on mothers and disadvantaged communities:
- Prevention and screening from an early age, particularly within the framework of school health programs
- Care and surgery, to meet the most urgent needs of children and their mothers
- Training and skills transfer to local teams thanks to our international network of experts in all areas of surgery
- Construction and equipment of hospital structures adapted to local needs
POSITION AND MISSION
The fundraising manager ensures the implementation of marketing campaigns aimed at recruiting new donors or soliciting grassroots donors in order to increase fundraising from the general public.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Manage digital and/or transversal marketing/communication campaigns
- Define clear and quantified objectives as well as activation channels, messages, tools, visuals to achieve them, in collaboration with agencies
- Coordinate campaigns in collaboration with agencies and the development team
- Participate in the development of collection systems and messages
- Ensure monitoring of schedules and budgets
- Track results to optimize campaign results
Manage prospecting campaigns: telemarketing, cross-channel, face-to-face
- Guarantee fluid and regular communication with service providers
- Manage the launch of campaigns: train recruiter teams, prepare the tools necessary for the campaign (La Chaîne de l’Espoir presentation sheets, textiles, etc.), define procedures for processing donor files, validate territories or media plans files
- Ensure operational monitoring of campaigns: regular monitoring of quantitative and qualitative objectives, management of donor feedback, management of production files
- Ensure respect for the values of La Chaîne de l’Espoir by the recruiting teams
Manage direct marketing actions targeting our donors: mailing, emailing, telemarketing
- Goals definition
- Management of schedules and budgets
- Setting up calls for tenders and/or requests for quotes from service providers
- Coordination of campaigns with service providers and internal teams, in compliance with planning, objectives and allocated budgets
- Definition of content for calls for donations with the support of La Chaîne de l’Espoir program teams
- Targeting, selection and monitoring of operation extractions
- Writing and design of collection messages intended for various media: mail, emailing, telephone scripts, etc.
- Brief and validation of graphic renderings
- Updating performance indicators and analyzing results
Co-manage marketing tools linked to the database
- Master the database (SIRIUS/QD NEXT) as well as the database segmentation criteria, in order to maximize its use
- Master the email routing tool: segmentation, creation, routing, tracking
- Master the online donation platform: creation of donation forms, monitoring, tracking
Participate in other marketing department missions
- Actively participate in the development of the marketing strategy
- Participate in managing donor relations
- Coordinate studies with a view to maximizing general public fundraising
- Co-manage the administrative aspects of marketing actions: contracts, invoices
- Write and/or update marketing procedures
- Stay on top of new fundraising tools/techniques and sector practices/actions
TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum BAC+3 training in a school or a specialized Master’s degree
- 5 years of professional experience in marketing, particularly digital
- Mastery of computers
