Job Advert: Health and Nutrition Manager (National Position)

The Health and Nutrition Manager takes overall responsibility for the strategic direction, growth and coordination of Save the Children International’s work on health and nutrition (including health and nutrition in development and emergency contexts, human resources for health, policy advocacy in the Zimbabwe Country Programme).

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Master’s in public health, nutrition or a related field
  • At least 5 years’ relevant technical health and nutrition experience
  • Proven experience of developing and managing high quality, innovative and cost-effective health and nutrition projects with International NGOs
  • Proven experience in writing up high quality donor reports and proposals
  • Demonstrated ability to work in health and nutrition program in collaboration with national health ministries, local authorities and international and local partners
  • Demonstrated budget management experience
  • Good training and mentoring skills. Proven experience of capacity building teams
