POINT was established as NGO by a group of Diaspora humanitarian experts. As an NGO, the co-founders of POINT realized the crucial gaps between providing aid and the need for building the resilience of communities.
We believe at POINT that the best solutions to support the people in crisis should be by a quick transformation from rapid response to resilience method, as this approach within humanitarian operations is crucial to the first efforts of a community to recover, rise again, and start to use their capacity, starting from education and livelihood at the first stages, ending by early recovery and rehabilitation at later stages.
POINT works in many countries closely with civilians like IDPs, Refugees, Returnees, and host communities, In addition to the local initiatives, local NGOs, and INGOs. For that, POINT has organized to hire all needed experts, skills, and tools that are necessary for POINT mandate in resilience and organization development.
POINT always seeks to increase its geographical coverage areas in the world to reach the most vulnerable civilian groups and work with them hand in hand for a better sustainable life.

Position Purpose:
The Field HR & Admin Officer is responsible for implementing and overseeing various HR functions to support the organization and ensure a positive and productive work environment. Your role will involve working closely with employees to effectively manage human resources procedures.
Duty station: Syria,
Reporting to: Human recourses officer in Turkey.
Main Tasks:
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring all necessary documents are completed accurately and timely.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support employee relations activities and assist in resolving routine HR-related issues.
- Coordinate training and development programs, including scheduling, logistics, and tracking participation. Assist in coordinating training sessions for employees.
- Manage office supplies, ensuring availability and ordering as needed.
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and conferences, including preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes when required.
- Assist in developing performance and supporting the performance appraisal process by collecting and analyzing performance data.
- Assist in the recruitment process, by filtering, scheduling interviews, preparing referencing and ATC checks and collecting documents for personnel as POINT standards.
- Collecting and organizing timesheets and all other needed employees’ documentation.
Skills & Experience
- At least two years of experience in humanitarian work in human recourses management.
- Highly organized and with the ability to characterize and solve problems.
- Good knowledge of both Arabic and English, reading and writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with using Office programs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of documentation work in HR Department.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration or any related field.
