Salary and benefits: If based in Kenya, 1,847,848 KES gross per annum, Nairobi office Benefits. If based in the UK, circa £25,500 gross per annum, Oxford office Benefits.

The Role
Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for an HR Officer to provide administrative support and first level HR advice to key stakeholders under the guidance of the HR Operations & Benefits Lead. This role works with the People & Culture function to administer HR processes and procedures of the employee lifecycle and provides support to People & Culture function when implementing and monitoring HR policies and procedures. The HR Officer will be allocated a key workstream/client group by agreement with the Lead People Team, HR Operations & Benefits Lead, and the Head of International HR Operations.

Who we’re looking for
Our office operates in a dynamic, fast paced and complex environment so you will need to have a proactive ‘can do’ attitude and be confident at juggling and prioritizing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
You will be a confident communicator at all levels, both written and spoken. You will take pride in your work paying close attention to detail and accuracy. You will have strong organizational skills and be able to take ownership of a query and see it through to a successful conclusion. You will have strong Excel skills for inputting data and producing information on key HR data. You will have proven experience of delivering high quality end-to-end employee life-cycle administration. Fluency in English is essential; French or Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
