Human Resource Director At Adventist Development and Relief Agency International

SUMMARY

The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources at ADRA Ukraine, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations purpose and talent strategy.

PRE-REQUISITES

Required

· Masters or Specialist degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

· At least three (3) years of human resource management experience.

· Proficient in Ukraine Labor law/requirements

· Excellent communication skills

· Experience in training and development

· Language: Ukrainian

Preferred

· Masters degree

· English as second language is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.

· Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.

· Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.

· Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.

· Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to country management.

· Assists in the development and implementation of program and office budget.

· Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities country staff.

· Oversees employee disciplinary/grievance processes including liaising with legal counsel, Sr country management, supervisor/s and relevant personnel.

· Keep timesheets, prepare and execute a schedule of leave; monitor the status of labor discipline and observance of work rules by the staff;

· Provide reports on personnel structure and work with the staff

· Performs other duties as required.
