About: Action Against Hunger
Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Support, your role will be to define the mission’s Human Resources policy and coordinate its implementation and deployment on all bases in order to provide the best support to the programs.
In this context, your missions will be to:
Contribute to the definition of the mission’s strategy
Supervise personnel administration and payroll
Ensure the recruitment and training of all employees and promote career management
Ensure the consistency of work organization and define the remuneration policy
Implement collective rules and communicate internally
Promote and ensure HR collaboration and coordination with mission partners
Prevent and manage fraud and corruption situations
Supervise and support the Human Resources team and the in-house team in the capital and be the functional manager of the HR Manager on the bases

Profile:
You hold a Bac +3/4 level diploma in Human Resources or a related field (Master’s degree, engineering degree, Bioforce, etc.).
You have at least 2 years of experience in a humanitarian context, including team management.
You are capable of leadership, integrity and honesty.
You know how to effectively manage teams, monitor performance and develop a strategic vision.
You are particularly competent in communication and writing.
You have good stress management and emotional intelligence skills, and complexity management.
You are fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing.
Conditions of employment
Vaccination against Mpox is recommended for employees travelling to this country.
International:
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience, including 13th month
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: $974 net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transport and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical coverage: 100% of the coverage of health contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses and this up to 1 month after the end of your contract
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year year of CP and 20 RnR per year; coverage of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
National:
Basic monthly salary: $3552-3999
Housing allowance: $976-1199
Medical coverage: 100% coverage
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Annual leave: 2 days/full month worked
13th month paid in 2 installments annually in proportion to the number of days worked
