General Description of the Programme:
SENED is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization licensed and registered in Türkiye with the number 27-15-175. SENED Organization was established shortly after the Syrian Nakba and in response to the suffering of millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey as well as internally displaced people in Syria, to alleviate suffering, achieving justice, equality, and freedom, strengthening the role of civil society, and supporting and developing the local community. SENED works in the humanitarian work sectors to support, empower, and educate the community through several programs, takes exceptional care of people with disabilities and their families and defends their issues.
SENED Association emphasizes creating safe, accessible, and participation-encouraging living conditions for individuals’ emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development by focusing on people with disabilities. Beyond the medical perspective on disability, it tries to find solutions to the problems faced by disabled people with a holistic perspective by considering the disabled people, their families, and the society they live in, focusing on the conditions they experience. SENED Association aims to create a safe and supportive environment and space by conducting family-oriented activities to help disabled individuals and their families become stronger, discover their potential and stand by with their children. By collecting data on refugee-disabled people and identifying problems and needs, SENED strives to ensure harmony between disabled refugees and local people with a voluntary, professional team and a community-based approach. All activities, education, research, advocacy, etc., are carried out on platforms created by local and disabled refugee people.
Job purpose:
This role will be responsible to provide effective support and co-ordination to the HR Coordinator with the full range of HR processes including coordination with HR team and other stakeholders. This post will provide the opportunity to become involved in a range of HR initiatives.
The role will be responsible for ensuring full compliance of the policies and procedures of these core responsibilities and implementing best practices aligned with the organizational culture.
Execution in coordinating departmental services and functions related to personnel data administration and maintenance, as well as HR administration. This includes but not limited to providing information and assistance with recruitment, HR related administrative tasks, orientation, and training.
Duties, objectives, competencies, and values:
· Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
· Responsible for internal and external vacancy announcement based on Sened formats for approved recruitments
· Ensure the recruitment files are complete and updated with every recruitment by ensuring recruitment processes are in line with Sened regulations
· Facilitate the induction/orientation process for all new employees.
· Prepare and follow up on staff timesheets each month to ensure timely submission.
· Organize, compile, and update personnel files and records in both hard and soft copies.
· Ensure that the database is regularly updated.
· Ensure that all HR-related trackers are kept up to date.
· Support the onboarding and exit processes.
· Willing to take disciplined risks for children’s, youth’s, women’s, disabled people’s wellbeing.
· Develops and encourages new and innovative ideas, especially solutions to problems/challenges.
· Perform other job-related tasks as requested by the Supervisor.
Learning & Development and Staff Wellbeing
· Providing ongoing assistance, guidance, and promoting learning and development to all staff, teams and individuals/partners.

· Prepare learning and development plans after analyzing individual and organizational needs for staff.
· Together will volunteers from other departments establish a social welfare committee responsible for social activities of the office.
· Conduct surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of the staff wellbeing activities and ensure reports are provided to head of dept.
Requirements: Essential
· Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in HRM or relevant discipline (or at least 3 years of relevant experience in general)
· Fluent in both written and spoken English and Turkish, Arabic knowledge will be an asset.
· Good Computer skills working with MS Office Packages especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Requirements (desired)
· Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
· 2 years of experience in a relevant position in the humanitarian sector.
Technical Competencies:
· Prior experience in HR online software’s will be an advantage.
