A major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French Red Cross manages a network of more than 600 establishments and services in the health, medico-social and training sectors. She is also at the head of 12 regional health and social training institutes.
Internationally, the CRF operates in 16 countries alongside National Societies and 2 regional platforms (PIRAC and PIROI), on the following themes: Health and Disaster Risk Management. In the same way as in the professions that it develops and implements in France, the French Red Cross internationally places all its missions in a sustainable humanitarian action plan. This results in an articulation of emergency, post-emergency, crisis exit and reconstruction activities aimed at maximum efficiency. The objective is to carry out actions with lasting effects and to allow populations to regain their complete autonomy.

Under the responsibility of the Head of the logistics and international purchasing department based on the Campus of the French Red Cross (CRF), the logistics referent ensures, in his/her geographical area, the coordination and consistency of policies , tools, methods, purchasing processes and logistics in compliance with international/national regulations, international CRF management rules and contractual commitments with partners.
Regular missions to the different delegations will be necessary in order to carry out all the tasks described below, and in order to provide the necessary technical support and participate in the continuing training of the teams.
The incumbent of the position will be in particular responsible for supporting the response to the Ukrainian crisis.
Thus, the position holder will be responsible for:
Support and monitor international activities operations and projects
Support the implementation and compliance with CRF and donor logistics procedures
Provide technical support
Strengthen capacities and capitalize
Support and strengthen coordination

You have higher education in logistics and necessarily experience in humanitarian work .
You have to
Know the regulations regarding purchasing, transport, storage, etc.
Know the purchasing and logistics policies/procedures of the FIU and donors
Know the CR Movement, projects, humanitarian project management methods, country contexts
Master the methods of purchasing goods and services, national and international transport, storage
Master the methods of quality control, budget management, reporting
Master English and office tools: collaborative and business software
Cooperate: integrate into a diverse and multicultural environment, promote synergies, lead exchange networks
Anticipate and organize: demonstrate forward-looking sense (establish forecast plans, anticipate means of action), and organizational sense (objectives to achieve, distribution of roles, etc.)
Communicate orally: lead and participate in debates, ensure balance between direct exchanges and maintain a close relationship as well as in writing: editorial quality, construction of documents, preparation of arguments

Significant experience in team management (direct and transversal), including remotely;
Significant experience in logistics management of a delegation;
