THE MISSION
I am working in schools alongside SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL in Brest on March 18, 19 and 20
For 44 years and in more than 20 countries, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL has been helping people whose safety, health and lives are threatened, by covering their essential needs: drinking, eating and shelter.
Committed to the populations most vulnerable to diseases linked to unsafe water and an unsanitary environment, our teams fight against water-borne diseases which kill more than 2.6 million people each year.
We also make it our duty to inform and raise awareness among the general public about the battles we are waging. For this, we need you !
We organize awareness sessions in school and after-school settings thanks to our Water Game. By becoming a volunteer for our Brittany delegation, you will actively participate in the animation and deployment of our Water Game on March 18, 19 and 20 with children aged 6 to 12.
Our Water Game is a giant and fun board game to raise children’s awareness of water, sanitation and hygiene, among other things: the importance of drinking clean water, of having access to use the toilet and wash your hands well.
It is easy to animate, via a detailed guide that you can follow.
It alternates questions and practical and fun scenarios.
Each workshop lasts 20 minutes.
You will be trained and supported by the regional volunteer delegate.
Do you have a sense of teaching? Do you like contact with children? Are you available during the week during school hours? So join us and highlight the fight for access to drinking water among young people!
